Your journey to this island paradise could not be easier. Flights from around London take only 3.5 hours and the Canaries are in the same time zone as the UK so no clock changing or jet lag involved. When you land at Fuerteventura airport you are only 10 minutes by car or taxi from the villa and so you can quickly unwind, relax and settle into the easy pace of life on the island. On arrival (or shortly after, once you have settled in) you will be met by our representative who will ensure that you have everything you need and can advise you on the best things to see & do on the island.
Caleta de Fuste

Just 2km from the Golf Development lies the beautiful resort of Castillo, better known as Caleta de Fuste. Arranged around a large crescent shaped, gently sloping beach which is ideal for children, the town boasts a wide range of shops, bars & restaurants. A picturesque marina also plays host to a premier diving centre, glass- bottom boat excursions and many other water sport activities.Recently opened in 2003 is a new commercial centre within easy walking distance of the villa, housing a multi-lingual cinema, bowling alley, boutiques and a supermarket along with cafes and restaurants. This looks out over newly developed sheltered beach areas, perfect for sunbathers with small children. This is all linked to the resort of Caleta via a scenic coastal promenade.

Further afield

Saharan Landscape

Travel another 15 minutes up the coast and you find yourself in the Islands national park where you can loose yourself among the golden sand dunes, walk for kilometres through the shallow clear water or enjoy the exhilaration of the surf. This Saharan landscape extends for quite some distance until you eventually emerge at the fishing resort of Corralejo at the north of the island. From here you can look out to the small island on Lobos and further to the island if Lanzarote.

There are regular 45 minute ferries across to Lanzarote where you can experience the incredible volcanic scenery which has played host to many sci-fi film & TV locations. While on the island you must visit the Park de Timanfeya where there are regular excursions around the many dormant volcanoes.
